Solar Manufacturing Announces Facilities Expansion

Solar Manufacturing Inc. announces the expansion of its office and manufacturing facilities with the addition of 22,000 square feet in a building on 192 Keystone Drive, Telford, Pennsylvania. This new addition is approximately two miles from the current Solar Manufacturing corporate facility.

Phase one of the expansion is complete with 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 1,000 square feet of office space successfully refurbished and in full manufacturing operation. Phase two of the expansion, which will add an additional 10,000 square feet of manufacturing and 1,000 square feet of office space, will be completed and operational by mid-summer.

James Nagy, president of Solar Manufacturing states, “This new building is the perfect complement to our original 50,000 square foot facility. Our primary need for increased space is to accommodate our growing hot zone rebuild business. The new facility will also be used for the fabrication and assembly of the electrical cabinets used on our furnaces. Eventually, we will assemble and manufacture the smaller furnaces of our overall vacuum furnace product line there as well.”
