Solar Manufacturing Installs Replacement Hot Zone

Solar Manufacturing of Souderton, PA has completed installation of a replacement hot zone for an Ipsen International model HR-50×48 at Williams International in Ogden, UT.

The hot zone was installed without modifications to the chamber or power supply. Improvement to the hot zone included:

• Improved energy efficiency of more then 25%.
• High velocity graphite gas nozzles for improved cooling and reduced cycles.
• Durable graphite curved elements replace molybdenum ribbon type.
• Daley ring element jumper system.

The hot zone was installed in less then two days and passed uniformity survey in aerospace requirements.
