Solar Manufacturing Receives Order for Replacement Hot Zones

Solar Manufacturing of Telford, PA has received an order for two complete replacement hot zones for a Vacuum Furnace System (VFS) model HL-6672.

The replacement hot zones will consist of 1″ Calfoam board backed by two (2) ½” layers of graphite felt insulation.

Improvements and upgrades include a layer of carbon fiber on the hot face for added durability. High velocity graphite gas nozzles for improved cooling and graphite curved elements to replace the molybdenum ribbon elements for improved durability.

The hot zones are expected to be delivered in the second quarter.
