Solar Manufacturing of Telford, PA has received an order for a complete replacement hot zone for an Abar Ipsen model HR-50x48 from Hi-Tech Metals in Cleveland, OH.

The hot zone will consist of 1" graphite board with .015 graphite foil bonded to the hot face, backed by two (2) ½" layers of graphite felt insulation with molybdenum elements.

Improvements include:
• Single piece plenum design
• High velocity graphite gas nozzles for improved cooling.

The hot zone is scheduled for delivery in July 2005.
