SolarVac 3000: A New Interactive Control System for Vacuum Furnaces

Telford, PA- Solar Manufacturing introduces a new advanced operator interface data acquisition control system. The SolarVac 3000 consists of an interactive Allen Bradley Panel View operator interface utilizing a 15" color, touch screen monitor to replace conventional hard-wired panel controls in combination with an Allen Bradley programmable logic controller. This provides the ability to monitor, control, and display information graphically to enable an operator to quickly understand the status of the furnace. Comprehensive time stamped alarm logging and history is provided via a Eurotherm Graphic Data Acquisition Video Recorder, utilizing a 12.1" color, touch screen monitor. It is designed to log data locally to a removable PCCard, and remotely to a local network via an Ethernet connection. A Honeywell Digital Controller Programmer is provided for temperature and timing sequencing.
