Solar Manufacturing, Inc. Names James M. Nagy as President

William R. Jones, CEO, of Solar Manufacturing, Inc. and Solar Atmospheres, Inc. announces that James M. Nagy has been named as president of Solar Manufacturing, Inc.

Nagy was named vice president of operations for Solar Manufacturing in 2002. He joined the Solar family of companies with Solar Atmospheres, Inc. as the manager of business operations in 2001.

“He oversees all general operations of Solar Manufacturing including sales, marketing, accounting, engineering, purchasing, and production, explained William R. Jones, founder and CEO of the Solar Companies. “Solar Manufacturing has experienced rapid growth over its first six years. This decision will allow me to provide the strategic leadership as the Solar Companies continue to expand.”

The future of Solar Manufacturing is bright. “We have experienced over 40% sales growth in 2008, and expect a 25% sales growth in 2009,” said Nagy. “We plan to thrive, not just survive, in the uncertain years ahead. We will grow sales and expand into new and existing markets by creating a work environment to enable our employees to match their experience and skill sets with meaningful labor for personal growth and prosperity,” he explained. “We will continue to grow our customer relationships through service, support and integrity, and set the industry pace by providing the marketplace with leading edge vacuum heat treating equipment.”

Nagy started his career in the vacuum furnace industry in 1984 as a sales engineer with Vacuum Furnace Systems Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, Pa. He resides with his wife and children in Barto, Pa.
