Mechanical Design Engineer Joins Solar Manufacturing

A company that is continually growing, Solar Manufacturing in Souderton, PA, announces another addition to their team of employees. Rebecca Petry will start in January 2006 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Petry comes to Solar with a dual degree in Accounting and Mechanical Engineering, with seven years accounting and auditing experience and six years in mechanical engineering and design. She received her accounting degree from Lehigh University in 1989 and her mechanical engineering degree from Temple University in 1998.

Five years of her mechanical engineering experience were in the pressure vessel and semiconductor processing equipment industries, along with one year of project management experience in the manufacture of steam hydrocarbon reforming furnaces.

Petry is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and says, “I am looking forward to providing mechanical engineering through ASME knowledge and experience with pressure vessels. My experience in accounting and project management should be of additional benefit to the overall execution of our projects.”
